Thank you! I’ve been thinking about doing it from seeing a lot of sponsored posts lately. If it isn’t tmi did it show what you thought or did you get surprising results? X
Hi Joanna, I did it a year ago and have mixed feelings about it. The customer service was good and it was a simple test, results came in fast. I was given a clean bill of health, everything was in a normal range. However, at the same time, since it was 2 years of TTC, I went to my GP to check out my fertility. The referral went through a month after and after some investigation I found I had pcos (which hertility claim they screen for) and fibroids (to be fair I don't think hertility can diagnose that). After the initial hertility report, there was an option to pay for a consultation with a doctor, which I didn't go for, but maybe they could have given more clarity on my results...? So in summary, by all means go for it with the hertility test, many find it helpful. However, my advice would be to also go for a more thorough check with the gp, they also test your partner so you get a fuller picture of what factors may be impacting TTC on both sides.
I had the consultation after which was helpful! But it is tricky to get an appointment time after work… had to wait a few weeks and as I’d done my own research into my results I went private in the end! (Diagnosed PCOS)
Yes I have done it, it’s good, deffo gives an insight into your homes and what’s going on! I’d say it’s worth it 🥰
