Safe play manchester

So… I’m a mum of two, one is just about to turn 2 and the other is 3 months. It’s a lovely day today but I struggle to go anywhere with the kids on my own because my toddler is a runner and obviously I can’t just ditch the baby. Is there any parks you can recommend which aren’t too big/quite contained and I can easily keep an eye on my toddler while he runs around and plays please?

Where in Manchester are you based? X

@Emma I live in the city centre, green quarter, but I drive so I can go anywhere really :) x

Mayfield park! Its lovely its smoke free there are workers who constantly walk round and theres cameras - its also a lovely walk and a bit for a picnic 💛

Phillips Park in Clayton is lovely :) x

Mayfield park is a good one it’s near the Piccadilly train station, they’ve got security that patrol the park

Thanks everyone :) x

A couple of parks I like are Beech Road Park in Chorlton and Cavendish Road Park in West Didsbury. Both small playground within a bigger Park. Beech Road I like because the gates have sliding bolts and there are picnic tables and some old tyres which my toddler loves to play with. And also you can get a good coffee to take away. Cavendish has a sand pit. They're both just a nice size to allow toddlers to run around but be able to keep them contained at the same time.

Mayfield park!

Phillips park in Clayton is great… I agree! Benches right next to the play area for you to keep an eye on your lil one.
