Hi, thank you for your reply. I've got two really compact strollers with a connection, so I can put it together, but they are small enough to be allowed to go in the overhead compartments. But it would be nice if I could get an assistant because I've been to that airport once before and it's huge and I'm not very confident.
@Jo amazing, that’ll make life easier. Get off last and air crew will help you leave the aircraft and get your prams unfolded on the gates. I’ve seen lots of Qatar staff helping with transfers, it’s a big airport but really well designed and easy to navigate. Definitely check online and see if you can book assistance if you want, it’s there to use and travelling alone can be difficult with even one toddler (you’re a legend for doing it with twins, nothing will ever phase you again once you’ve smashed that!). Qatar have great baby/kids packs and a toy too for onboard which is a nice touch, plenty of bathrooms/change space too xx
I’ve done the Australia flight a lot, including with a toddler. You will be fine. That plane is full of families, you can’t move for kids onboard. Are you flying with Qatar? Doha is a great connection airport and we’ve never had issues there. You can book assistance with Qatar to meet you at the gate but if you have a travel pram it’ll be at the ramp waiting for you again for the connection. Just note, you will go through security again at Doha airport after disembarking the first flight and before you go into the main terminal to change xx
