Honestly I might get a few bits and some books but I entirely anticipate him enjoying the wrapping paper more than presents
A few lil toys from santa and a year pass at the Zoo from me. And for his birthday we're gonna go the city and get a football kit and at build a bear there's a birthday bear which you pay their age xx
I’ve got a lot of sensory stuff, light up toys, a dog that walks and flips by itself as my LO is into moving things and crawling after objects! I’ve also got some art pieces like jumbo chalks crayons and paints with large brushes. Jumbo animals off of Amazon so throughout the year I can make up activities using them. X
For the first Christmas I got things more for memory/future traditions for my first and intend to do the same with this one. So a bauble with X’s 1st Xmas, a proper wooden advent calendar, a backpack with their name on for when they go to nursery, a stocking with their name on. They get toys and fun things from other family (grandparents etc) and as others have said, they’re not going to remember it being so young so seems to cost efficient to set things up for the future that they will enjoy.
We are thinking along the lines of a wooden walker, soft play slide and ball pit and a ride on. Haven’t decided yet and will depend on if we think she would benefit from any of it (like the walker) sooner.
@Chloe-Louise please can you show me the jumbo animals and the dog? These are fab ideas and I think my little girl will like them x
@Kristie yes I’ve got the ball pit and that’s all I’ve thought of so far haha. I’ve got a ride on but I’m going to give her that for her birthday x
I've got one of those sensory play trays to do different set ups for baba. Alot of ideas I've got won't be till he's older but they can be used for anything. Really tryed to find a cheaper version of the inspire my play one but couldn't and just though f*** it I keep thinking about it. 😅
