Toys for an autistic child

We have just started the assessment process for my 2.5 year old, and theyve suggested getting him some sensory type toys as he loves putting different toys and objects in his mouth, can anyone recommend any please?

Try magnetic shapes/tiles, there really good!

@Emily thank you! He loves putting things in his mouth, so trying to find toys that are going to help him but are also safe! X

@Emily do you know what types of textures he likes to put in his mouth?

@Emily he puts absolutely everything! Duplo blocks, fidget toys, chews on his drink cup, dummy, fabric lately is a new one! We’ve ordered these chewlry that the speech and language recommended today. But were more thinking xmas present ideas etc :)
