Following, i need ideas too cause most times my son won’t nap so i need ideas cause i be burnt out 😫 . I do library, farm, or playground but most times when we go to playground earlier in the day it’s pretty empty cause kids are in school so he gets bored and wants to leave cause he wants someone else to play with besides me. He goes to school two days a week so the 3 days i have to figure out things for him to keep him busy.
We have Baby bounce on at the library 3* a week. From 18m it’s called storytime, he has a lil play after in their outdoor playground and then we go for lunch at the shopping centre or im meeting my other sahm mums at the zoo, park, shops, museum, playcentre etc. We get heaps of walking done in a day and he usually has his nap either in the pram where we’re at, or in the car seat otw home.
I take her out to gymnastics, let her run outside (we live on 5 acres with a play set for her), we do paint and coloring, she loves parks, we try to see family once during the week, movie time with her snack, puzzles, whatever other toys she finds to play with (usually babies or little people or her kitchen set), and when I run out of ideas I will usually do bath time for a break since she doesn’t really nap either
I just go off of however my daughter is feeling. If she is feeling like running around, we spend most of our time in the front area of our house since its an open floor plan and she can run around. If she feels like climbing, we spend more time in the play room (where her climbing stuff is). If she's snuggly, play room. If he asks to go outside, outside, unless it's super hot or raining a ton. We have a general routine of wake, play while I cook breakfast, then breakfast, play till nap. Repeat for the next 2 wake windows. At the end of the day, we bathe/bed time routine. The time in which stuff happens its flexible within around 30 minutes. We've also been going to the Ohio Ren Faire as a bit of new experiences for her. But obviously that's only 9 weeks long and not a year round thing.
