I got the fidget spinner thingys for the window when we went away but she was around 11 months they were fun for a while and I downloaded some episodes on my iPad because it was an 8 hour flight so she got bored of the toys after a while x
Fidget spinners were great on the plane, we take them to restaurants too and they keep LO entertained for a while. The Montessori busy board books, likes to play with the counting beads, buckles and laces. My LO loves lanyards with something dangly on the end so I always pop one round my neck for her to play with. Found this a useful distraction when the seatbelt sign was on. And defo download any programmes they like on the tablet. LO likes dancing fruit and Ms Rachel.

We made sure to take things my boy hadn’t seen before/for a while so it was new and exciting for him. Busy board books kept him entertained for ages, touchy feely books, fidget spinners, other smallish toys. We downloaded lots of things for him to watch too but he was quite happy with his toys! But only a four hour flight x
We got some brand new fidget toys, I bought a box of them from the entertainer and a new remote toy for something more interactive, made it through a 6 hour flight last month with those!
We took 1 fidget toy , toddler busy board book , few touchy feely books, colouring book and crayons , couple of her small toys and the iPad with her favourite cartoons downloaded x
@Elle I have never heard of the Montessori busy board can you send me a link please.
Thank you all. I am going to look into the busy board book. LO has the fidget toy but will get one for the travel purpose
