Id say 6 weeks up as otherwise likely sleep through it all 😅
We started at 6 weeks, she slept through the entire first one and part of the second but they still take in 60% of their surroundings. It is expensive for them to just sleep through though 😅 we missed last week as she had her injections so will have our third class on Monday I’m hoping she will get more out of it as she gets older.
I took mine to her first session at 5 weeks old. Don’t know how much she took in but it was nice to get out the house.
I personally waited until 3months but was ready to go from 2months. I have been in classes where people have taken their 2week old etc, yes they often sleep through most (if not all) of it but if you want to get out of the house and interact with other parents then there are wider benefits to joining x
I would stick to cheaper options such as a stay and play, check your local churches and community centres, they usually have something on for just a few pounds! That way, if baby sleeps the whole time you haven’t shelled out loads for it but still get to socialise☺️ I struggled with classes as I wanted to meet people but they can be so structured your time to chitchat is slim! Then when they’re older and you know when they’re likely to feed/sleep the sensory classes etc are amazing🥰 Might be an idea to get a sensory light or something to do mini sessions at home?! X
My baby does baby sensory and she's 4 months old. I personally wouldn't bother with a newborn, best from 3 months onwards IMO
My lo slept through at 8 weeks but from 10 weeks she started to enjoy and interact more 😍
I waited until he was around 6 months. Easier to plan around naps.
I've always gone from 3 months, otherwise as others have said, they just sleep through it! Xx
I remember taking my 3 month old to baby massage and her sleeping through the whole thing every time! Most expensive naps ever. Baby sensory is great but it relies a lot on lights, songs, touch etc… I’m not sure how much a very, very young baby would get out of it. Plus you would have to weigh up exposing them to so many other babies (potential older siblings at school etc) and the inevitable colds etc that comes with that. Especially pre-vaccines. It wouldn’t be something I would recommend until they are a bit older but that’s a personal choice
