We just got back from Italy and I was so nervous about it! Getting through the airport for us took ages so I'd say leave plenty of time! We fed him as we took off and landed and took a few toys and actually he was great on the flight!

For us, the flight was much easier than I expected. I fed her during landing and take off and that helped (her ears did hurt during landing before I started to feed her). I also used earmuffs during take off and landing just because of how loud it gets. We took a soft book with activities (quiet book from Amazon), spinners to put on the window and some books. All of those she only found interesting for a short time, but they did help to break up the flight. At the airport, just make sure you go to the family line (or fast line, I'm not sure what it's called), I forgot that was a thing and we queued for ages for no reason 😅 we had her in the carrier the whole time and that made it really easy to move around.

Thats helpful thankyou. Can you pack pouches? Cause of the liquid restrictions etc

I'm just back from Spain with a 8month old and it was actually a lot easier than I thought. Slept most of the flight and then I just made sure I had plenty on milk snacks and jars for the plane My partner and I sat on the end across from each other so we could pass the baby back and fourth and was easier to get out/stand up walk about if needed

Babies don't have a limit on their liquids they just might get extra tested

A baby carrier will be your friend around the airport :) much easier than a pram, and keeps your hands free!
