@Jessica she’s 20 months. And if I’m cooking she wants to lift her to see what I’m doing. She has her own cooking set. I don’t have a tower yet, I was waiting to move to a bigger space
Good luck! We are at 23months and I'm just now able to sneak away for a few seconds. I usually eat with her on my lap sharing bites with her. I pee with her sitting on her potty in the bathroom with me. Showers and chorea wait for hubby to come home or bedtime if he is gone.
This is normal and also all kids are different. Some just need more attention and time, some are cool with being on their own. My oldest was like yours and it was exhausting. One of the reasons I put my kids to bed early.
How old is she? Children need to be taught to play, try and sit and play with her toys, with no pressure on her to join in. My daughter is 22 months and still doesn’t always want to play by herself while I’m busy so I just have to involve her in what I’m doing like she sits on the side while I prep food or in her learning tower and sometimes draws sometimes just wants to eat but if veg that I’m cooking. As for meals I try and do that when she’s asleep or we eat the same thing at the same time
