Miscarriage or eptopic pregnancy?

Help or advice needed, I feel like I’ve exhausted all my options. Background: I’m around 7 weeks pregnant, haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms or any contact from a midwife yet (we have to do a self-referral in my area, which was done over 3 weeks ago). Currently experiencing a lot of pain in my lower right side of my abdomen, my instinct is telling me something not right. The pains been there constantly for 3 days, doesn’t ease with pain relief. It’s so bad that it’s making me feel sick. Yesterday, I rang my GP who gave me the contact details for the community midwives. Rang them and they didn’t seem to care about anything I had to say as it’s not part of their ‘responsibility’ until I’m 8 weeks. I tried to cope today, but after another day of being in agony I called 111 a few hours ago. They got one of their doctors to call me back, who did relatively quickly. He was quite passive, originally saying to wait until I think I’m 8 weeks and try the midwives again. Upon me coming distressed he said and I quote ‘Well go to A&e if you want, but it’ll be a waste of time. They’ll not do anything and will not offer you a scan’. I’m really worried, feel like after having 3 healthcare professionals pass me off. Where do I go now? *I would really love to book a reassurance private scan. Unfortunately I recently started a new job, so we have a large paycheck gap. Cost of living crisis🙄

This is honestly awful! When I was 7 weeks, i had some cramping. I rang 111, and they told me to go to a and e! Wanted to send an ambulance, but i said I could make my own way there.. They gave me a scan and made sure everything is alright. I don't understand why they aren't being helpful to you :( i hope everything is alright and you get something sorted x

If I was you I would call up and tell them that you are 8 weeks pregnant you can do a calculator on line that would tell you when the first day of the last period would be to make you 8 weeks. They won’t know the difference and once you’ve had the scan they can then tell you you’re not 8 weeks but at least you’ve been checked. I was 6 weeks at my first scan from doing this and they just corrected me no questions asked In regards to the pains your having seen similar to what I went through at around 20 weeks I had 3-4 weeks of excruciating pain on the right side of my abdomen/back quite low down it turned out to be BV caused by a water infection I hadn’t noticed xx

I was advised to go to a&e by my midwife - after answering questions there they sent me to early preg assessment unit for a scan - all fine and even got a pic (7wks preg) A weird symptoms of ectopic pregnancy is shoulder pain - which I didn't have I had cramps for a few weeks early pregnancy- until about week10 - they were probably worse than early labour but once I'd had the scan I was reassured so I'd recommend contacting hospital for a peace of mind.

Try ringing your early pregnancy unit at the hospital as they should scan you with being over 6 weeks pregnant. And if not I would honestly bite the bullet and get that reassurance scan as if something is wrong they send you to your hospital for a proper scan x

Just go to a&e they will have to see you

Hi all, just a quick update. Thank you for all the advice, it was really appreciated. And nice to hear people actually care. I didn’t want to feel like a nuisance so I stupidly didn’t seek any further help, I am now unfortunately bleeding. So with 1 day until I turn 8 weeks, I have rang the early pregnancy unit at my nearest hospital. They were beyond shocked with my story, and told me to go straight to a&e as they will make a referral for me to have a scan
