Whooping cough/ RSV vaccine while pregnant?

Hi ladies they have asked me if I wanted to get these vaccines. I don’t really know. Can you all tell me your experience and why you may have gotten them or not? Thanks

I’ve just had my whooping cough and booked in for my RSV vaccine, I’ve done it because they said they protect baby until they get their first vaccinations at 8 weeks old so at least I know they are protected as much as they can be in that time! ☺️

I get any vaccine that is offered to me. My 10 mins research and chat with Karen is costa is nothing compared to the many hours and ££ that is put into the NHS research and paying for these vaccinations. I trust that they know best x

@Katherine Queen!! ♡

I wasn't offended rsv when pregnant but I did have whooping cough, as there are so many unvaccinated babies around/ kids that things are spreading like wild fire. When I had my son we was offered the rsv jab as he was prem it was a godsend during the cold n flu season, I know other families with premature bubbas, who weren't offended and they was in and out of hospital , it's not fun seeing bubbas poorly. X

My nephew had RSV when he was younger and almost got put into a medical coma. When this came out I had it straight away as I saw how poor he was and anything to give my little girl protection from that. I had a slight side effect that night where I threw up once but that was it. Felt back to normal the next day. So glad I had it. With the whooping cough vaccine it’s been around a while so had that too 😊
