@Reena this is interesting. The information really is conflicting as we saw a lactation consultant and she said lip ties can cause speech problems and dental problems 😩
@Lucy dental - ie a gap in front teeth but you can only tell that when they get their adult teeth. Speech maybe if it is very very tight but again there's not many sounds that you make with the upper lip flared out. I'm struggling to think of anything other than "ooo" and as children grow and move their mouths more it stretches the frenulum and thins it out.
