Visitors for a newborn
My baby is 4 weeks old, and I have families coming in to spend a few days with us. Meanwhile, my brother has a cough, and I have told him to treat himself before coming. But i am concerned as my 3 year old and 4 year old neice has cough too and I don't want my baby to be infected. How do I go about it? I can't just tell those kids off as it's their first time visit, too.

I agree with the above, you should push the visit until everyone is well enough for it. Your baby’s health takes priority. I wouldn’t have anyone sick near the baby at all.

You can politely ask to reschedule as your little one is still too young to be around that cough. As parents and respected family members they should understand and not make a fuss. If they do then they need a reality check as it’s winter season and sick season and they would potentially pose a risk to your little one which isn’t something you’re willing to risk. ,,,
