We did a bath in the hospital before getting discharged and will now wait until his umbilical cord falls off. And then probably once a week. Sometimes twice a week if necessary. Less bathing is better for their skin.

It depends on the baby but make sure you use a gentle soap.

Babies really don't need to be bathed often. When I left the hospital they told just do wipe down until his cord falls off and then even after don't do like actual baths often because their skin is delicate. His cord just fell off the other day and we had just given him a wipe down so he hasn't had a bath yet but qell probably do it in another day or two. With my older two only bathed them maybe twice a week at most as babies.

I’ve been doing once a week. This week she’s has 2 because she had a massive blowout, so she will skip her Sunday night bath and have one Tuesday instead
Mine don't receive anything but a wipe down until the umbilical falls off. Then after that, once a week. Unless any extra is needed.
