@Lauren it’s so hard isn’t it 🤣 he goes all year without and then everything comes at once! We’ve got a kitchen, we’re actually getting rid of it this year! He plays with the food but not necessarily the kitchen and it takes up so much room! He loves role play like pretending to be a fireman police man etc so I’ve got him some dress up bits but I’m struggling haha! Xx
My sons also on the 21st it's really hard, my lo has a tonies box so will get him some tonines, he's seen some gruffalo chocolate and has asked for that
My wee boy will be 3 on 3rd December and my baby will be 1 15th Jan. Wev told all parents and friends - clothes or vouchers only for birthdays etc as we have no room for much more toys. We live in a 1 bedroom house at the moment 🥴 but my boys are getting a play kitchen, coffee machine, toaster, wee wooden train set from Lidl, books, wee musical instruments, fireman sam doll house sort of thing, ball and hurling stick, football kits, clothes etc. their so hard to buy for but my wee toddler has took an interest in "nee naws" as in police, firemen etc so iv got wee trucks that will also go on the train set. I find at tots groups he plays with the kitchen and the doll house the most so I think that will be a bit hit this year
My LG is 3 on the 30th December. So for xmas we got her main present as a rocking horse as she wants to climb and ride everything now if giant teddies and thought this may be a good idea. She's got other bits like happyland toys , dressing up and things like thst. For her bday her main present is a bike. She loves the outdoors and has mastered her balance bike so going to move her up to a bike with stabilisers.
Role play. My daughter is seriously into Dr's Dr's at the moment, so I'm getting a doctor's kit, anything with dinosaurs, kinetic sand and peppa pig World toys like plane, dolls house etc. She also loves a dress up, like halloween, but just in general so maybe a few outfits for role play.
I have brought the superspace tiles for Christmas and for her birthday I’m undecided on a bike or dolls/barbie house
My sons obsessed with monster trucks, fire engines and Bluey. Getting him a bike as well.
We’ve got wooden kitchen Bike with stabilisers Tonie Remote controlled digger Dinosaur blow up punch bag from Amazon Skaletrix
@Lauren also 13th Dec baby here! For birthday I’m getting a dress up stand and have lots of dress up costumes and accessories. Plus a painting easel with art stuff. For Christmas it’s a wooden peppa pig house with all the figures and vehicles. And she loves her dolls so new doll and got things like little cot, Highchair etc Apart from them it’s jigsaws, books, games etc
Hey my little girl birthday is 21st December 😊. I get her a min of 3-4 presents for her birthday with Christmas around the corner, with her being so young and till she's old enough to tell me her self she will then tell me her main present for her birthday and Christmas. It sucks a little trying to do birthday party with it being so close to Christmas that I personally think that no one would show for it. My opinion would be what you feel best (spoil) for one the big celebration days. While typing this I just literally thought, spoil for birthday as Christmas they would get presents from everyone else! That's if you said to family/friends not to buy for birthday . It's a very hard choice of what to do around that time.. I would not like to think though parents with children born Christmas day! I find it hard already 😕 X
My son’s birthday is on the 13th of December, so I know how you feel!🤣 You mentioned role play, what about a child’s kitchen? X
