Same as above! My boy loved them, had the stage of hating them and then went back to normal 😂 we just went quickly and tried to sing nursery rhymes really loudly to distract him, it didn't work but it made us laugh 😆
Our daughter went through this a little while ago, my husband would get in with her and after a few weeks she was ok again.
We just don't push our daughter to get in if she doesn't want to. If she doesn't have a bath for a few days so be it! Then she's usually more than happy to go in again and goes every night for awhile again! We've also found she actually prefers a shower because ours is over the bath so she likes she can go in and out of the water herself and likes standing up in it! So if you have a shower, maybe try that?
Mine was like that when he had hand foot and mouth. We have quite a low placed shower head so i hold and wash him while my husband uses the shower to spray him off.
My little girl went through similar, so I’d get us both in the bathroom, I’d get into the bath and play/wash etc then see if she wanted to join me, no pressure. Eventually she’d ask to get in, we’d have a cuddle and a play then out again. A few weeks of this and now she is back to enjoying baths. Another thought as it’s gotten colder recently, is the bathroom warm enough? I only mention as I don’t realise how cold it was until I was bathing with my daughter 😂
My son went through this for no apparent reason and after a couple of weeks went back to normal. I didn't force him to stay long, just washed him quicker. Fingers crossed for you!
