2 days away from stims
Do you have any advice? About to start my first round of IVF. Feeling a bit nervous and get emotional when talking to colleagues / friends etc about it. I’m excited and trying to be positive but realistic - finding the middle ground is hard. Any advice appreciated. I’m in the UK.

As for me, the follistim did not give me any side effects but the menopur created slight headaches and feeling nauseous. But drinking plenty of water and rest helped me with that

Good luck! I experienced some hot flashes and minor mood changes on stims. Nothing major though!

Im in my first round of ivf on day 6 of stims currently. I feel like once you get the first stim out the way, you'll be fine. Its actually not bad. I psyched myself out because of the fear of injecting myself. But it wasnt bad at all. I would say relax and if you have someone or people that are supportive and can put your mind at ease while injecting yourself, i would say call them or have them there. You'll be fine.
