Am I being cheap?

Have to take my car into the tire shop. My son’s day care is a 30min drive it will cost $17 to Uber there (I’m assuming taxes and fees added to this? Haven’t used it in years) Instead I’m choosing to take the ttc. Am I being too cheap? I’m not struggling, but I don’t have money to waste, so especially with this unexpected car issue

If you have the time then why would you spend $17 instead of $3, that’s not cheap it’s logical

I do the same! I can’t afford uber as much and even in a rush I’ll still take TTC with my daughter!! The Fees to uber are so stupid

If it means you're gonna be late to work or something like that, consider the Uber, but otherwise if you have the time and ability to take transit, go for it! That's what it's there for!
