Also make sure your OB office sent their verification to EDD. Once my OB sent their approval I received payment the next week.
It took probably a month for them to start paying my husband for paternity leave. We also had to submit his birth certificate so we couldn't file for the first week
You can call your local representative. Google your state senator/rep and their office can get you an update on your claim. I had my money within 48 hours of doing this
Some reps even have an EDD request line specifically for this because it is a well known way to avoid the EDD call line that is impossible to get through on.

Sign into your account to see if they need any forms and call them. Mine took forever so I called and they mailed me all the missing payments. They had said they wanted to verify I wasn’t working 😑, keep calling until you reach someone.
It can be a very slow process, especially if your doctor or employer are slow to return their portion of the paperwork. Two months isn’t unheard of in some instances. :(
Mine took about 3 weeks I sent my claim in on the 6th of October and last night everything went through . So you should be getting something soon girl
It took them two months to pay me. My advice would be send them a message immediately right now letting them know you haven’t been paid then take the time to call back to back to back until you get a live person. if you get tired of doing that at least you have a message in queue and someone will get back to you in 7 to 10 days through messages or like me you’ll just randomly get a payment because that person will go ahead and just process it.
