Colostrum colour
Is this a healthy colour for first harvest of colostrum?

Yes, and a v healthy amount too!
How long did it take you to collect this much? I tried for the first time last night and got a few droplets, but not enough to harvest… I know it takes a few goes but feel like I’m not doing something right 🤔
@Heidi About half an hour to get 0.4ml. The “C” shape massage helped stimulate the milk ducts but nothing came out. What I found most helpful was to then gently pinch the nipple itself and then droplets formed. I collected 0.4ml; then stored it in the fridge for an hour, and then returned to collecting the rest. All in all two sittings of 30-mins to fill the 1ml syringe.
Remember not to fill the whole syringe as the milk dilates when frozen, fill 3/4 of milk storaging bags and syringes 🙂
