Constipated with weaning

Has anybody else found there LO being constipated far more often now they’ve started weaning? If so, how did you combat it? My LO hasn’t pooed since Saturday

Yes !! We are now on laxido once a day otherwise my little guy gets backed up !! 100% go see your doctor they will be able to give you something to help - max is three days without pooping

Ohh yes! Prunes, pears, apples and weetabix

@Meaghan ive been given some lactulose to hopefully try get her belly moving!

Applesss on 4 consecutive days and my lo was back to normal poos

Prunes did the trick with my little one, he was going 4 days without a poo when we starting weaning but he's going more regularly now

Prunes, warm water and a tummy massage! Avoid weetabix - the type of fibre makes a difference! Aim for soluble fibre like fruit and veg :) I second the previous point about going to the GP For a macrogol like movicol. You want to get on top of it before the colon and rectum stretches, as that can lead to other issues in toddlerhood with soiling / incontinence.
