Rainy day activities

What are we doing in the fall/winter when it’s too cold or rainy to go to the park? Yes I know library but they only have kids programs at my location once a week.

I have started to introduce my May baby to crayons. And I think I’ll let her try finger paints soon. She’s teething and puts a lot of stuff in her mouth still, so makes it hard to do activities like that 😆 but I think she is starting to get it. I have a 3 year old as well, so with her I’ve been doing lots of DIY crafts for toddlers. Also, my girls love playing in our backyard and getting muddy. They need a bath right after, but they are sooo happy playing with dirt and mud outside 😅

My girl loves our local pet store! They always have fish, birds, and hamsters, and sometimes even have kittens and puppies! She literally runs back and forth between the fish tanks and the bird cages. Also, chick fil a during school hours lets you have the play area mostly to yourself 😊 or if you have a mall near you, they usually have nice indoor play areas!

We rotate between 3-4 libraries, indoor playgrounds, indoor pools, play dates with friends, aquariums, kids museums, we have a rec center that is open every morning for just toddlers to play at. At home we do crayons, markers, chalk, paint, play dough, dancing. We are both more get out of the house type people
