Baby vomiting everytime after food

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me, my baby has never been a sick baby at all, she’s started with veg purees and was fine and now we’ve introduced other foods and she’s constantly throwing up after food, even now if I just give her sweet potato she will throw it up, any ideas? Ive been doctors they said they believe it’s a sickness bug but it’s been over 2 weeks ( she had no other symptoms, no temperature or anything )

She could have been introduced to too much before her gut was ready. I’d do some research about that! Hope she feels better soon

Maybe certain foods don’t lay on her stomach properly. Like they are too heavy. You could always give her some calpol before eating or take time before spoon fulls. Or give her half then wait a good 30-40 minutes to give her the other half I had to do that with my little one because of reflux

refrain from giving baby food with starches aka potatoes (research what others have starch) , they don’t have the enzymes yet to break them down until they have molars. also try only offering water 30min before or 30min after eating so the food can be properly absorbed and broken down.

bulgarian probiotic yogurt is great for their gut as well. try to give baby mashed food instead of puree since they aren’t doing much chewing the mouth won’t be signaling to the stomach to break it down.

My nephew has FPIES everytime he eats sweet potato he ends up very ill including a lot of vomit maybe something worth looking into if it’s to specific foods or if it’s all food then I’m not sure

Thanks for your comments guys 🤍

Is there a certain ingredient that has been in every meal she’s had that she’s thrown up? My baby has FPIES and vomits every time around 2 hours after eating oats, cherries or peanuts. The nurse who saw him in A&E when his vomiting was very severe insisted that it was just a vomiting bug as he didn’t have the traditional allergy symptoms but once we finally made the link between the vomiting and those foods and cut them out he’s not been sick once and once we managed to get a referral to an allergist she confirmed that it was FPIES. It doesn’t have to happen on first of second exposure, we went through half a bag of oats that he ate with no problems before my baby started being extremely sick when eating them
