If I’m home alone with them eg during the week then I find atleast one outing helps. Like a baby and toddler group, walking round the high street and going to a cafe (usually hold baby and talk to toddler), local farm etc. otherwise baby in chair and playing with toddler. Holding baby following toddler round! And definitely some tv time whilst I make meals etc!
I do things for the toddler and my baby is pretty happy watching. We go to playgroups, park, library etc and a ballet class one morning. When we’re out baby naps in the sling. At home, I have to put the tv on for the toddler if baby needs a nap.
I have a 23 month old and a 5 month old and find getting them involved in eachother best, like if I’m helping little man roll my daughter copies, other than that lots of fresh air! Xx
