My little girl had hers last week, although it felt like the most horrific thing to watch it wasn't so bad! We took calpol to our appointment and administered it to her right after her vaccination and brought along a pacifier/bottle to soothe her. Although she was irritable for an hour or so she had a temperature which was well managed with calpol and by the morning she was absolutely fine xx
we had ours today, theyâll be fine! they really cry for a few minutes but then itâs all over, we got told to give them calpol as soon as possible afterwards and give it every 4/6 hours to avoid temp as MenB can do thatđ x

So does mine! Good luck! A few things Iâve heard take the calpol with and ask the nurse to give or alternatively give it to him just before you go in for the jabs so itâs already kicking in when heâs had the jab. Also see how be goes after the first dose of calpol but if he seems to be getting upset then top him up but he shouldnât need more than 3 doses that day. Lastly, keeping on top of washing and sanitizing your hands after every nappy change and wiping any dribble with a tissue and binning straight away. Thatâs just as a precaution because they have the injection to immunise against d&v you could catch it from there nappies or dribble if you donât clean your hands thoroughly. Send hugsđ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»
