Get in the bath with her. N lay her back on u, that way no water goes in her face and she's comforted that u r there. I always do it with my LG she loves it. Xx
Oddly enough 🤣 i sit my baby in the kitchen sink with her bathing suit on. Throw in a few toys. Turn on the spray nozzle and she enjoys it til it’s time to get out. That’s when she throws a fit
My little one is going threw this aswell I just have to do it as quick as possible and then stops crying as soon as I say all done she is the exact same when I try do her hair she hasn’t been like it all the time she will live it then hate it again
My girl was like this until just recently i think it’s a phase coz now she lies on her belly and puts her head in the water sideways lol but during it i got one of the hat things to keep the water off her face
My son hates hair wash day. He has Afro hair as well so the water just runs straight off so it takes a lot of cups of water to get it wet. Then to rinse out the shampoo I need even more! I get in the bath with him so he doesn’t slip and fall while I’m doing it as he thrashes around trying to stop me. It’s never fun but once I say ‘ok all done’ he stops crying and goes back to playing with his toys. I guess they just don’t enjoy the feeling
Exactly the same with my girl. It’s not a pleasant experience for anyone to be honest. We try and do it as quickly as possible. I use one of her stacking cups because it has holes at then bottom which works as a gentle, make shift shower. Sometimes I use a sponge.
I just put my hand over the top of her forehead to avoid as much as I can going in her eyes. Some gets in and she didn’t like it much but she will learn that she can tip her head back soon… hopefully 😅
@Candise what hat is this? Do you have a link. This sounds like it would help my LO
I have recently started tipping my little ones head back by her chin and then doing the water and she’s starting to get the hang of it so it doesn’t go in her eyes - also have a dry flannel to hand to wipe her face after which seems to help x
I think it's a phase, my wee one is the same. I do the same as you except I have a cartoon on, on my phone higher up so he has to look up to watch it. That way not so much water runs down his face as his head is tilted back. X
