Time differences

We’re taking our 5MO with us to New York for 5 days (husband is there for work). Any advice on managing time differences with a baby?

I did the same in March with my little boy (my partner was working in New York for 5/6 days also) My little boy was 2yr so a little different but I guess my advice would be just try to go with the flow with sleep as there’s no knowing how they’ll respond to it. And it’s not like the usual clocks going back as before you know it you’re flying back home and having to readjust again 🤣 Hopefully you’ll be lucky and they’ll sleep on the plane which might help depending on your flight times but I’d take a carrier with you and allow them to sleep on you if needed when you’re out and about. We all woke up at 3am on our first night there and we just had to embrace it and battle through watching tele and cuddling until morning. Then got up and out early to try balance his day/night understanding. Then within a day or so we adjusted 👍 At 5months I’d say routines not fully set anyways so just try your best to enjoy ❤️ We had an amazing time and I hope you do too xx

Thanks @Lizzie - if there was anywhere you visited that was particularly successful with a little one do let me know ☺️

I’ve sent you a private message so it didn’t take up the feed 👍 xx
