Yes, I live in IL and with a winter baby the day we had his 1st birthday was one of the coldest days so many people canceled day of. This year we are taking our little one to indoor waterpark on his exact birthday and just our immediate family to celebrate with cake the weekend after
lol yes I planned a big home Party that ended up being too much work and made the day stressful… we are doing a package at mygym for his 2nd
We had a huge first party so for her second we decided to do a Friendsgiving theme since she was born on Thanksgiving and invite the kids she plays with and book a jumper !
We just did dinner with close friends for my sons 1st birthday. I was thinking about doing a park with snacks and cake

Yes, I rented a $1500 Airbnb for all my family to come to and celebrate, half the people didn’t show up and didn’t get to do anything I planned. So this year I’ll just be taking her to a jumping gym and out to eat.
