Yes the “Melbourne Cup” is a huge yearly holiday here where we go to the horse races. I went last year, I didn’t go this year in the middle of packing to move house otherwise I would. And yes it’s very formal cocktail attire, usually w a headpiece but not essential. A day to look your ultimate best and a great place for people watching if I say so myself. The girls look absolutely amazing. ❤️🔥 If you have IG you can type up #melbournecup in the search bar and you’ll see how others dress Xx -COMFY HEELS. Or bring some. At the end of the day the amount of girls I see walking holding their heels and walking barefoot back to the car 😂 (me too)
