@Cat thankyou I can try those ideas they're great . Not done any puzzles thoguht he'd be too young
Early learning centre does alot of early years puzzles which are just two pieces - heads and tails, or the front of a car and back of a car. Or we have a floor one which is just a long line of cars, so you match the front and back up. Then as they get used to it move up :) Even if they can't connect them they might be able to help you find all of one animal or a tree for example :) enjoy exploring :) x
@Cat wow there's loads of learning toys I forgot about this brand of toys thankyou so much x
We have a truff tray (messy table) from amazon. I put rice on it and provide sandbox like toys or pots and pans. Mine likes pouring the rice into the pots. Or I put out pasta - the massive ones you can thread pipe cleaners in. Pom poms are fun to play with on it too. Depending on how messy you want to get you can do liquids or slime. I stuck paper onto mine and created water and grass, added some fences, a farm house toy and animals to set a scene and my 2 role played for ages. There's loads of Facebook groups or Pinterest groups for ideas. If your little one likes paints you can do hand prints/foot prints which you can turn into animals. Or just enjoy the sensory element of it. Paint an egg box different colours (the actual section the egg goes in) and ask them to find things that match the colour. Brilliant on a sunny day to find flowers that match. I made out of bottles a noisy box. Some bottles have feathers in, others bells or buttons. Lots of different noises and colours. Puzzles?
