Is anyones baby lactose intolerant?

My baby is 4 months and bf. She is very gassy and her tummy seems to hurt. Idk what it is. This started at 12 weeks. She has just had her tongue tie cut yesterday.

Mine is very gasy with pain but it was not that, she has silent reflux and omeprazole has been life changing for her. Don't freak out and take dairy from them for their life unnecessarily. See if you can find out what it is x

Casper has CMPA - he's been dairy free since he was 5 weeks. We knew quite early on there wasnt something quite right. His face & body comes out in a rash when he had dairy (even after I've kissed him after coffee), bad wind, sore tummy & his nappies were filled with mucus. He is on amino acid milk & just been prescribed omeprazole. We've had a great support from GP, health visitor, infant support team & now a dietician.

My son is 9 months now and I was only recently able to have a dr confirm that he’s lactose, he would spit up more frequently and or larger amounts, really runny poo’s and it would trigger his eczema and cause flare ups so now that I’ve switched his formula he’s doing so much better and everything has subsided

It’s really unusual for a baby to be lactose intolerant but much more common for them to have a cows milk protein allergy. Lactose intolerance normally starts later in life age 3 upwards
