Very normal. Breastmilk is lighter and gets digested much easier. Some babies eat the same way even on formula. Hang in there! It will get better soon 💪🏾
Yeah were about the same here x some babies can go longer some are just hungry goblins 😅
We're the same. She's 2 and a half now and we can sometimes stretch to 2.5 if she has a nap in-between 😂
The more they get per feeding the further a part the feedings will be. We nursed every 3-4 hours but my baby would always nurse for 10minutes per side so after 20minutes of nursing she was pretty full and could play, nap, then nurse again.
Yeah, we are the exact same every 1.5/2 hours! I'm exhausted with you. you're not alone xxx
Yeah same here. With breastfeeding it’s for comfort as well as hunger so I tend to just stick a boob in whenever he’s grumpy 😂
I'm with you. This last week he wants to feed so much more! I'm just trying to go with it and not question myself. My LO is also so distracted when he feeds so he probably isn't concentrating on the job at hand!
Completely normal. It’s relentless honestly, but does get better 🥰
It can get tiring but don't push feeds as sometimes it's due to leaps, growth spurts and teething. My LO feeds every 2hrs sometimes will want a feed after 1.5hrs
Hiya. I am a breastfeeding counsellor. Feeding frequency changes so much for different babies and ages.there isn't really a right or wrong, some babies would go 3-4 hours at this age, others are every hour. Also I would generally advise against pushing baby longer than they are requesting. Feeding responsively is considered the best for baby and for milk supply. Unless of course you're physically unavailable like driving or in the bathroom etc!
My little boy is similar and I feed on demand, he is a snacker I think as only feeds 3-8 minutes!
