Mucus in poop

I would say contact your doctor

We had THE SAME THING! I sent pics to my dr. It was mucusy stuff in his poo. I thought maybe an intolerance to something. But the dr said it was likely from some viral thing and it would clear up. He had this off and on for a bit… it was SO unnerving. But bc he was otherwise fine, I forced myself to be ok lol. One diaper was ONLY MUCUS. I freaked out 🫣

@Kelley yes! Same here! Some nappies are just mucus and it smells a bit weird, doctor calling me back shortly, obviously no concerns as it’s only a phone call and no face to face . Thank you x

I hate that you’re going through this, but it helps me to know other kiddos had this happen. I questioned the dr for kinda brushing it off, but it really did fix itself and was a non-issue eventually. Just super scary/freaky 🫣🫣

@Kelley I’ve been to the doctors with him they want a poo sample Monday morning when they’re open but he thinks it’s either ibs or Crohn’s disease , which I’m hoping it clears by then I’m worried sick
