My boy is ebf, always needs burping else he is restless 😬 n uncomfortable. When I don’t bother, he does vomit little yogurt out (that’s what I call 😂) I also keep him up right position n clockwise his back massage or pat until burps. I think you should also check what foods you’re eating, even tho ppl out there b like it doesn’t matter 🙃 I m lactose intolerant anyway so I don’t take cow products. Hv a look into that
Have you had a feeding assessment and has he been checked for a tongue tie? CMPA is actually quite rare so I would be looking into other causes too. This account is really helpful for advice. https://www.instagram.com/p/CjPcaz5saXI/?igsh=MjFiOTc2N2ZjYWpx
my bubs is ebf, I am lactose intolerant and so limit my dairy intake (mostly) however i find that if ive had a day where ive eaten a bit of chocolate or something my son is usually more frequently sicky later that day/ the next day. it wasn’t so obvious to me until i had a few weeks where i cut dairy out fully and he wasn’t nearly as sicky as he is when it was in his system. i find that he is usually ok if i have a bit of chocolate but more “whole” dairy products like cheese/ milk/ cream etc send me over the edge and bubs is almost immediately sick after the next time he has fed. it may not be an allergy but an intolerance.
@Sophia Hi, that’s interesting to know actually as I recently switched to that arla Skimmed milk that tastes like semi skimmed and it is since around when I first bought it that this has been happening. (About 3 weeks ago) so maybe that’s not working with him? I know it’s sort of the opposite way but that may be it. I guess I will chat with my health visitor!
@Megan there’s been a few studies which have shown that skimmed milk despite being lower in fat can sometimes have more of an effect on someone who is lactose intolerant, https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0002916523332556 would recommend having a read x but defo advise talking to your HV x
That could be milk allergy. My girl had it too, now when I'm looking ot what I'm eating it's nearly gone. So if you will start feed her something be careful with milk too 🙌
