Osteopath is great for this and doing regular massages yourself. I use Kendamil probiotics and works like a charm
@Polina this is what we are using too, how long did they take to kick in?
@Krissy her poo is usual colour and skin is fine, just constant constipation until day 3-4 😭. I will def book an appointment, thank you!!! Xx
@Kate the last time it took 26 hours. I do 5 drops and shake it so so so much before the use. I typically follow after the constipation the next day and maybe the day after but I try not to use it too often, only when I see she hasn’t done the business in more than 16 hours - that’s when I do the drops. Constipation is normal since kendamil has iron in it but it is unfortunate for them and for us. Soon enough they’ll be able to relax their pelvic floors and that will be better for everyone. There’s also this move where you put your right hand under their chin supporting their head, left arm under the butt and very slowly you move the left arm is circle motion so that it looks like they’re moving their whole bottom body in circles. Sometimes this motion helps me with burps and seems like gives her enough of room in the stomach
But we do 10 minutes sessions in the morning and evening of I love you belly massage, bicycles, hip rotations and what not so maybe that helps. We’ve seen osteo twice for neck problems but she did work on my little girl’s stomach too
Lactulose can help to soften to make it come sooner as ling as baby is over 1 month old xx
@Kayleigh annoyingly it basically liquid so doesn’t need softening, it’s just seemingly stuck somewhere in her tiny body for days 😩
Could she have a cows milk allergy as this was exactly our situation and it turned out that was the issue? Her poo was dark green and the amount was crazy, I used to always end up having to wash her in the sink. She did have other issues like red/dry skin so she was clearly flaring up. It was our osteopath who flagged it up. So I definitely recommend going to see one as they can help with loads of issues.
