Thinking ahead for Xmas

My lgs nursery is closed on Xmas day and during the bank holidays in the festive period. My lg’s normal days are wed-fri which means wed 25th and thur 26th the nursery in closed as they are bank holidays. However, we are still getting charged for these days. Isn’t that mental? We can normally change days 4 weeks in advance but they said we cannot that week as the mon and tue is full.

Pretty sure they shouldn’t be charging if they’re closed? Our childminders don’t anyway x

It would be the same if she was there o Mondays as the majority of bank holidays fall on this day. It is normal practice, my son's nursery is the same

I think this is fairly normal. Our nursery has it in their contract that they will charge for bank holidays as the majority of people are paid for bank holidays and so their staff will be too.
