My baby has bad reflux so we burp every 1-1.5 oz

I burp him every ounce bc he spits up really bad

To avoid my baby having gas buildup and irritation I burp after every 2 oz and especially after feeding before putting him down

Do whatever works for your baby. I started when he was born doing it every ounce, and so far he’s less gassy. Now that he’s eating more we do it every 1.5/2 and it works well. Don’t worry about the fussing in between, it’s better for them to not have gas trapped

For a 4 oz bottle we burp babygirl every 1.5 oz. This helps limit the big bad hiccups 🤣and she doesn’t spit up at all 🥰

If it’s formula I burp every 2 ounces as he seems to have more air in him drinking formula but if it’s breast milk I let him drink the 3-4 ounces then burp.

My son eats 5 oz at a time and he usually burps 3 times total. 2 during feeding and one after. He has bad reflux and spits up a lot so this helps decrease that
