What programmes are we putting on for a little ones when we need a minute?

My little boy loves numbers and letters. I’m trying to steer clear of cocomelon and such. He had watched some Miss rachel but now I’m conscious that he is saying “zee” and looking at me like I’m an idiot when I correct him to “zed” 😂 We discovered Yakka Dee this morning and this seems to of appealed to him, but I’m wondering what other English programmes there are that are educational but not overstimulating? He’s not really interested in stories and such, he likes the educational style programmes which is a bonus.

We like Yakka dee, number blocks and Mr tumble is good for learning signs (low stimulation) we also watch Paddington a lot, although it isn't educational.

@Gemma can’t believe Mr Tumble is still going, I remember my youngest brother watching him! Thank you!

My little one is very similar! Have you tried Ms Apple on YouTube? She’s a bit like Ms Rachel, but English and I think her videos are a little less stimulating as well.

Mr tumble & Justin’s house is a massive hit for my daughter! Both on ceebies and bbc iplayer x

I like the Julia Donaldson books which have been animated on bbc iplayer- Room on a broom, snail and the whale, Zog etc

@Rachael my little girl is really into these too

@Rachael this are fab! My son loves them. Alongside Wallace & grommit, Paddington and Peter rabbit. Oh he also loves Sarah & duck. All on bbc iplayer😊

My boy likes numberblocks

Thank you everyone!

Definitely Ms Apple for us!

Little baby bum on YouTube sings nursery rhymes, numbers, shapes, colours, alphabet x
