is this reflux/allergies/teething?!

-13 week old has always seemed quite uncomfortable in her sleep in the early hours after 3am, grunting/moaning, flailing and kicking her legs about (i thought this was active sleep or wind) - but generally she has always slept ok in the next-to-me and pram lying flat -she's EBF and can sometimes cough/gag when feeding, and seems to take in alot of air, often delatching and latching herself (i thought this was because of a fast let-down) -she often arches her back during and after feeding and brings her hands up to her head, never really seeming content during or after -when she comfort feeds in her sleep she seems fine and is more still (but still arches her back after the feed when i sit her up) -she does spit up a bit after feeds in the day but not every time -i try and burp her after every feed - sometimes it works but sometimes she burps herself randomly between feeds -last night at around 4am she spat up larger amounts, 4 times in 20mins - but she didn't seem uncomfortable and was quite cheerful and active -this morning after a feed at around 7am she cried inconsolably in her sleep every time i tried to lie her back down -she sneezes alot and sounds quite congested but doesn't seem poorly -lately she wants to chew everything, our shoulders and her hands especially, also very dribbly especially yesterday and putting her hand to her cheek -lately her feeds have gotten quite short and it's almost like she's wanting to feed for comfort rather than hunger what is going on 😭 what are others' experiences and what has actually helped?

Hi, mine suffers from colic, reflux and constipation. He is being combined fed. I was told by the HV that arching back means colic so I make him sit upright and give him gentle pats on his back. If it is during the day time I take him out, but it seems to get worse during night. Also, my LO loves when I bounce him while dancing. He usually moans, grunts and kicks when he is suffering from colic, reflux and is constipated. And, as none of the otc medicines ( infocal, gripe water, colief ) seems to work, I give him lactulose as prescribed by his doctor and give him warm bath with gentle massages on his belly and bicycles whilst he is in the tub. This usually relaxes his muscle, and helps him clear his bowl system. Hope this helps, and your LO feels better soon x

Hi mumma, you are not alone. Your description of your little girl is pretty much identical to my 12 week old. Unfortunately I can’t offer any advice, currently trying to muddle through ourselves. On top of your points, she seems like she’s uncomfortable like she has trapped wind yet is happily trumping away and tends to poo twice a day so it’s not like she’s backed up. Sometimes her feeding (EBF) can be a bit faffy where she’s latching and unlatching every few seconds which must make her take in additional air. When she’s like that I just take her away from the boob as I think she obviously isn’t hungry, just playing x

My little girl is doing the same. She is 13 weeks old, exclusively breastfed, and has been waking up a lot at night wanting to feed. Could this be a growth spurt

My boy is the exact same! 12 weeks today!
