The fact you’re worrying about it means you care and from that I’m sure you’re doing an amazing job at being a mum ❤️ I have chronic pain that can stop me from getting out of bed, I admit it’s tough mentally, esp when I can’t do everything I want to for my son. But please try to be gentle with yourself, esp as you’re dealing with health issues you don’t need extra stress. It’s great you have support! And making sure you have support is also part of being a good mum, keep up treatment for the ppd/ppa and focus on one thing at a time. Though difficult it’s worth trying to change your pov to what you can do with your baby, eg cuddling them. You can also find examples of disabled mums on ig to help you find ways around your health condition to still parent where you can.
@Hannah thank you so much for your reply, it means a lot! How do you cope with chronic pain and being a mum? Do you manage to work? Do you have people helping you? X
