London IVF

Hi all, I was wondering if people could give me suggestions for IVF in London? Hoping to book in a consultation in January, so trying to get all my information now to decide which is right for us. Thanks so much X

I have been with 3 different clinics and cannot recommend LCRH enough. You will never find a doctor that will do more for you than Dr Chapman does, the most personalised dedicated approach. I promise you wouldn’t regret seeing her ❤️ Feel free to DM me with any questions x

I’m with CRGH, they offer advanced diagnostics other clinics don’t, they have promising success rates and up to date with latest research. I feel very confident about them compared to London Women’s clinic I was a customer of before.

We used CRGH -great Portland street, who in our opinion were fabulous! Every member of staff from every department truly professional and welcoming, put you at ease from the first moment. Very honest doctors trying to help you navigate your journey to give you the very best chance of success . A world apart from the experience we had prior to using them. Could not recommend them highly enough. View HEFA website for yourself to see the success rates based on a variety of treatments and age groups for live births not just pregnancies x

I had my baby with CRGH. Amazing all round x

crgh are leaders. my first transfer worked first time as did my second. They do free webinars pre consultation which you can sign up for

so reassuring to read this sentiment about CRGH 😊 I ended up moving to them a few months ago somewhat accidentally, glad I did 🤞🌈

@Maria a couple of my friends who switched following numerous failed attempts from elsewhere now have babies :) The process isn’t hand holding. You pay them to get you pregnant. Everyone is very kind but professional and they tell you the truth which saves time and money. The process is quick and efficient and they appreciate working mums busy schedules. Good luck :)

What I would say to all as tip - buy your drugs from ASDA (they sell not for profit IvF drugs) Crgh mark up is insane - we saved about £2.5k by getting a prescription and taking to Asda

+1 for ASDA! it’s so generous of them to sell meds without the markup

@Francesca their expertise is so evident indeed! I was with LWC before and contracted covid during preparation for a transfer and they didn’t stop me.. which is against HFEA guidelines..

I also used CRGH and have 2 children. One egg retrieval followed by successful fresh embryo transfer for my now 2.5 year old. The egg retrieval got us 5 good embryos. Last year I defrosted and transferred an embryo twice - sadly the first miscarried but the second worked and is my 3.5 month old. A close family member also has 2 CRGH children too! Also recommend not obtaining your drugs from CRGH. I used online pharmacies myself as my local Asda were less than helpful!

I would say it depends on your fertility needs, I went to argc but found they haven’t been that great with the condition I have (POI) But I have a friend who had success twice with them as her reason for IVF was different to mine. I am now working with a specialist 1:1 and I’m so much happier!

@Francesca @Kelly @Philippa dear CRGH patients, when they say meds are till week 10, do they mean till the end of week 9 or end of week 10? just counting injections I need to do 🙈

@Maria my meds ran until week 16! (Albeit just pessaries) it depends on your protocol. From memory it’s until you start the week. But they write it all down for you so it’s completely idiot proof. Don’t count the injections!!!! For a period of time I was doing 5 injections a day!!!! It really is protocol specific so don’t worry yourself until you have the plan from your nurse. Crgh are all about the drugs!!!! They love them 😂

@Maria I’d have guessed until end of week 10, which is opposite to what Francesca said… but you get a personalised calendar with what drugs you need to take each day, they even put the times on there too from memory. Try not to count the injections, it may seem overwhelming! Remember you only have one first injection, and it all gets easier from there as you get more used to it. Good luck x
