Perfectly fine
I’m a hairdresser, in my opinion so far there aren’t any other chemical treatments being done at the same time as your treatment, then it should be okay. Mums need to feel good as well either with hair or beauty treatments! If you can have someone look after your little one, so you can have me time x
I took my baby to hair salon but they weren’t 1 month. Maybe like 3 months. They slept the whole time. Go during a nap time. Or since yours is 1 month and probably not on a set schedule. Watch what time they like to fall asleep for a few days and go at that time. If you have a pump. And are okay with doing this. Pump a bottle for them. Like 1 so if they do get hungry and you are currently unable to hold to breast. You can pop a bottle in mouth. Breast milk can be out for 4 hours without fridge. But no later. Bringing a cooler is a plus but baby might not like cold milk. Less stress option is having someone watch baby. (:
I went with my little one when he was 4 maybe 5 weeks old. I had a cut and was the only person there. I don't take him to nail appointments due to the chemicals and wouldn't if I was getting my hair dyed x
I take my now 1 year old to every appointment and sometimes I’ve been in there 3 hours having a straightening treatment colour and cut. I also breastfeed she has no issue at all
If the hairdresser doesn’t mind, and you think baby will be happy during the appointment either in the pram or feeding off your boob then I’d go for it! I don’t think an hour in a salon will cause any harm to baby. Personally I never wanted to be separated from my baby at 1m old (or even at 1 year old) so never in a million years would I want “me time” without baby. My boy cluster fed like a maniac at 1m old too so there was no way I could be away from him (we chose not to do bottles, feed at breast only) I had my first haircut when my boy was 12 months old and I bawled my eyes out during the appointment because it was the longest I’d been away from him.
I wouldn’t because of the early exposure to harsh chemicals
