Is anyone else having hella issues naming their baby?

It’s my first I knew his name as soon as I knew he was a boy. I t was immediate. My ex and I had an agreement that if he was a boy I got 1st and 3rd name he got 2nd name (two middle names) if he was a girl he gets 1st and 3rd name I get 2nd name. This time around my partner has no clue, I ask he goes idk. I throw a name out and he gives me no input. It’s driving me mad because I’m 15 weeks and STILL don’t have a single name picked out. 🥲 We have a theme and agreed to stick to it, as well as we both dislike common names (Kyle, Jack, etc). My name is Shelby, partner is Dakota, son is Chevy. I like Veyron. He agreed it’s cute but doesn’t want to commit to it till we have a full name because I’ll agree it matters if the middle can or can’t go together. He’s also not sold on 2 middle names but I love it. It’s unique. I wanna cry cuz I just want my son to have a name we’re nearly half baked and I keep calling him a mini demon instead (son is the demon so it fits). 😒 Sons name is Chevy Layne Scott This one I love Veyron Myles Stetson Thoughts? Yes it’s weird but I love it. It’s all I think about all other names like like nah, that doesn’t flow right. But I bring it up and he goes idk I’m not good at naming things and then changes the subject. Like boy you now have 5 weeks (anatomy scan date) to help me with a name or I’m naming him alone and you can adjust. 🙃

YES. But mainly because my sons name came to me so clearly and naturally and i just feel like i have to think so hard with my girl. I also was the one that named our son First and middle and so i wanted my husband to have a say this go round

@Janel I’m convinced men have a hard ass time naming things. My ex (named Dylan) said if my son was a girl it would have been Dylynn ____ Marie. No, wrong answer. You’re not naming a girl after yourself. That’s conceited… especially it being a different gender and spelled different… 😭

@Janel RIGHT!? I looked at it and was Why not add a few new more y’s and n’s. You may get somewhere eventually. I love Dylan as a girls name, but not spelled like that. 😬

@Bella I think he’s onto something either way!! I love “boyish” girl names. I used to know a girl named Ryann! I love the name but i used to know her so i can’t possibly name my daughter after her🤣

@Janel I agree they’re adorable, just the spelling? Why? Makes me think of all the ways to spell Brittany. Confusing. My now SILs name is Mikala and she constantly has to spell it. I feel like that would quickly get old.

@Janel I have a basic name, and yet people ask me how to spell it all the time. So I ca only imagine when you actually have to spell it for it to be right. 😮‍💨 so sorry but your name is really pretty!

YES!! We loved our boy name but can’t agree on the girls middle name. Literally fighting over it and it’s stressing me out ughhhh. Nothing “feels” right
