Soft play and cigarettes

As long as they weren’t rolling it on the table where kids eat

Well they’d be rolling it at a table where children could potentially eat. There’s no avoiding that. It’s one of the tables in the soft play.

I say this as an ex smoker of roll ups. I object to people rolling it in my house or car so I’d seriously object to it being on a table where kids eat. It’s not because they smoke. It’s because rolling tobacco gets EVERYWHERE regardless of how careful you are with rolling it

Then yes I’d be bothered by that, that’s disgusting. I know people that roll it in their hand they don’t need an object to roll it. I’d probably say something to Management after that so they could clean it . That’s really disgusting

I wouldn’t want my kids to see that and think it was ok or acceptable

@Amira exactly. That’s what I’m thinking most would feel, if actually seeing someone sitting doing that - whether rolling it in their hands, or on the table. Either way, it’s not the place. I know it’s not the worst thing someone may do. But equally, there’s a time and a place.

Everyone’s different I don’t like seeing parents smoking and vaping or drinking around children but that just my stance on it but not everyone if going to think the same I also wouldn’t want anyone to swear around my children but to some people that I’d the norm and in a place like soft play it’s open to the public so we can’t do much, at the most u could say something to a member of staff but it’s up to them to act on it

Yeh I wouldn’t see me saying anything. Just wondered how people would feel about it.

Interesting that you assume that :) It says something about it. It was in a really nice soft play actually 😅 Definitely not a bad area by any means. In the middle of the countryside. But it says something about the act of doing it that makes you think it’s in a bad area.

I would just avoid that one then I guess just keep trying ones until u find one u like I guess

Think I’ll more just avoid that person.
