It’s not for me but if you love it I wouldn’t let anyone away you! My kids have names that some people in our family didn’t love at first but I’m so happy I didn’t listen to them because now years later everyone always says they couldn’t be anything else because they’re names suit them so well

I recommend calling your baby Orin when you oil your tummy and whenever you talk about him, refer to him as Orin and just see how it feels! I personally love the name.

Sounds like it should be Orion

I’m surprised people don’t like it! I know two Orins, one in his 60s and one in his 30s. They are both Irish. I thought it was a normal Irish name 😅

Awwh I love it! We called our boy Erin, we’ve had a few people raise eyebrows but ✨fuck them✨ we love it and he really suits it. If you love the name then don’t let anyone put you off it 💛

I teach an Orin. I thought it was a little unusual at first but now I really like it!

I think it’s pretty. Our favourite children’s book is called the Lord of the toad stools and it has a character called oren and this is the spelling I had seen prior to the book too. If your partner isn’t sure maybe ask about this alternative spelling?

Love! I am biased though as my boys middle name is Oren and was almost his first name. I think both are lovely xx
