Ciara or Colette?

We may not even use these names and we don’t know if baby is a boy or girl. I want to stick with my roots with an Irish name but my husband (English) really likes the French name.

People in the US may not understand how Ciara is pronounced in Ireland. I remember looking it up once. KEE AR AH?

@Lianne Yes, it would be KEE AR AH

Love it!

I would say Ciara but prounounced keer-a to keep with Irish roots but Colette is so cute especially with a single syllable middle name

@Tara 🏳️‍🌈 we’ve chosen a middle name of Noelle, so French 😆

I love Noelle as a middle name...I think that Ciara (either pronounciation) Noelle is beautiful together.
