I don't mind the name, but kids can be cruel, but in today's society, everyone has had to become more gentle with feelings etc You could always have Jack as a middle name if you are worried about your child being picked on

I don’t think it’s a bad name but it’s giving me superhero name vibes with the alliteration: Wade Wilson, Peter Parker, Bruce Banner, Lex Luthor. I work with a Donald MacDonald and tbh I do smirk when I see his name.
