Second scan after miscarriage
Did anyone not go to the second scan a week layered after miscarriage. I am feeling drained and emotional not up to it.. still bleeding day 7

@Cara thank you for your reply. Did you see that the gestational sac had left your body by 1 week post MC or isit still early? I want to avoid having to come in again
Yes I only had a small amount of blood and tissue left that I was told would leave naturally which it did do fortunately for me, it's definitely hard having to go back but I had to focus on the thought that doing so was in my best interest despite really not wanting to

I felt the same it was the worst appointment to go to knowing what was going to happen but I did make myself go to mine purely because any retained tissue can cause infection which comes with risks and I didn't want to risk getting unwell or effect getting pregnant in the future. If you don't feel up to it today then maybe ask to reschedule it in a couple of days if possible but it's definitely worth having it.
