Second pregnancy appointments
Hey! I just recently self referred to my chosen hospital my pregnancy and they’ve come back with my first appointment being next week where I will only just be 5 weeks. I’m wondering why it’s been booked so early. I had high blood pressure and a bad infection which caused a complicated labour and my baby to be in NICU in my last pregnancy, could this be why? They’ve also booked my scan but that’s correct at 12 weeks.

Ok makes sense! I was just worried I’ll get there and they’ll realise I’m really early and send me away 😂
I thought they booked mine really early too as I’ll only be between 7-8 weeks (don’t know exactly as my periods vary with pcos). With my first I didn’t have a midwife appointment till 10ish weeks but guess that makes sense that it’s just they’ve got the time atm or something!

No it's probably because you've self referred early and they're quieter atm all depends how busy the areas are fir when you have appointments I had mine within a week also
